Spa and Wellness School
The Spa and Wellness School (SWS) is the first institution in Singapore to offer Spa Management with Hospitality programme. SWS's strength lies in its well-established background and years of experience in Tourism-Spa industry.
Our professional and qualified lecturers have got many years of working experience in the Spa industry and will be able to impart valuable supervisory and management skills and knowledge and also share practical experiences relevant to the service sector in spa facilities within the context of hospitality industry.
SWS also work closely with various business partners, known to be the Tourism-Spa industry leading players, in delivering this programme. With their participation in offering this course, students will be able to learn about the most updated content of the current evolution in the industry and also be exposed to the latest advancement in technology associated with Spa operations. With a further collaboration with SWS to offer internship opportunities to our students, this group of top Spa-related businesses may eventually be future employers of our graduates.
Furthermore, students who have successfully completed all credits for the course will be granted entry on to the final year of the B.A.(Hons) Spa Management with Hospitality offered by University College Birmingham (UK). Graduates will also be able to apply for credit transfers to Australian, Swiss or other UK universities to pursue a Degree in Spa Management or Hospitality Management.
The substantial international growth rate of Spa-Tourism in the hospitality and leisure industry creates an increasing demand for qualified staff to manage Spa facilities. Graduates of our Spa Management programme will feel confident as they are equipped with relevant qualifications and therefore have access to employment opportunities in the hospitality industry or booming Spa industry. Such opportunities are aplenty worldwide, such as in exotic destinations like Monaco, Maldives, Mauritius, Las Vegas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia where there is a great demand for qualified Spa professionals.
